EDGE8™ modules provide an interface between 8-fibre MTP® connectors and LC duplex connectors.
The modules are inserted into the EDGE8™ housing and provide a comfortable connection of trunks, harnesses and patch cables.
No Dust-caps – The LC duplex adapters feature hinged VFL-compatible shutters that move up and out of the way when the connector is inserted.

EDGE8™ MTP® port breakout modules enable conversion from a single 4-channel parallel optic port (such as 40GSR4 (QSFP)), into a patch panel representation with four LC duplex ports.
EDGE8™ adapter panels are pass-through patch panels with shuttered MTP® adapters on the front. This enables various options like extension with extender trunks by using MTP patch cable for end-to-end links in high-speed networks, or within a cross-connect used in MDA.
Harnesses provide the best implementation of I/O cards in data center hotspots by reduction of cable congestion in racks.
